American Idol Addict
The American Idol show was delayed for broadcast last night for two hours- so it was late when it came on here.....but even though I should have been in bed, I couldn't resist watching.
You know the "talent" will be bad, but you have to watch and listen anyway!
I think the most amazing thing about the "auditions" is that there are soooo many people who are suprised that they can't really sing; partially because their "friends" told them they could sing & that they should try out....and friends wouldn't lie , right?
I think "their friends" are home watching American Idol just like the rest of us....

My theory for all the seasons but the first is that it is a two pronged tactic;
1) The producers pay people to sing badly for the ratings, this is not many people but a few.
2) People just want their 15 minutes of fame, even if it's bad fame, so they go and make fools of themselves.
