Audio-Technica ATH-EC7GM -The "Ultimate" ear buds?
These are the Audio -Technica ATH-EC7GM earbuds that I just tried out for an evening ( thanks to "Vinnie G") These little beauties worked great with my new IPod; crisp & clear on the high end, and good bass on the low. (The midtones could have been a little richer for my tastes tho....) And a VERY comfortable fit!
At a retail of about $260.00 US, these aren't for the faint of heart! But if you're an audiophile and money is secondary next to quality, go for 'em... ( and I promise to give them back real soon....)

My First IPod
Well, I took the plunge this evening.... I got my first IPod! A video Ipod no less! I am charging it up and ready to upload my songs from ITunes - Just to try it out, I've downloaded a free promo of the TV show "monk" I'll get the good stuff later.....Sorry if I dissed any "monk" fans out there...
As someone told me about having an IPod not to long ago... "It's more than music- It's a lifestyle!"

Adobe Light Room Beta
As some of you may know, Abobe products has come out with a new Beta software program called Adobe® Lightroom™ Beta.
This is , so far, available only to MAC users and a PC version will be out in soon- as I understand it. You can download a version here:
http://labs.macromedia.com/technologies/lightroom/
Here is a brief quote from the company:
"Adobe® Lightroom™ Beta is the efficient new way for professional photographers to import, select, develop, and showcase large volumes of digital images. So you can spend less time sorting and refining photographs, and more time actually shooting them. Its clean, elegant interface literally steps out of the way and lets you quickly view and work with the images you shot today, as well as the thousands of images that you will shoot over the course of your career. Because no two photographers work alike, Adobe Lightroom adapts to your workflow, not the other way around.
Lightroom Beta lets you view, zoom in, and compare photographs quickly and easily. Precise, photography-specific adjustments allow you to fine tune your images while maintaining the highest level of image quality from capture through output. And best of all, it runs on most commonly used computers, even notebook computers used on location. Initially available as a beta for Macintosh, Lightroom will later support both the Windows and Macintosh platforms.
Don’t delay. Download now and send us your feedback. Adobe Lightroom Beta 1 build expires at the end of June 2006.
Note: This is a public beta, not a final release. Neither the quality nor the features are complete yet. We want to show you our direction and get your feedback so that we can incorporate it into future releases."
